Summary: I booked this for 2 main reasons. One that there was a wood burning stove and second for 2 bathrooms. Imagine my disappointment when there was NO wood burning stove. Really need to update pictures as even the fridge is not the same as in the picture picture!!!

Summary: This was a return trip for friends of 40+ years. Everything was the exact same: bright, clean, and airy. The kitchen has anything you could need to cook a meal (we made two dinners, the second bbq-ing steaks on the grill). The bathrooms are well-stocked and clean. We love this place. So serene. Hope to return in one year, God willing.

Summary: This home is exactly as described. There are many great features but most notable is how pristine this home was - from top to bottom. Clearly a well loved property. We stayed for the solar eclipse and it beat our expectations! Close to many wonderful hikes and rock climbing adventures in nearby parks and the Shawnee National Forest. Great bird watching.

Summary: We had four couples. We are all in our 60s. The place was perfect for us. Very roomy, well appointed, right in the middle of the wine trail. Would also like to mention Wright transportation, and their driver “Karl with a K”. He was delightful. The whole weekend was just perfect. Definitely would stay here again.

Summary: In our group of 6 adults, 4 are SIU alums. We wanted to spend a few days near our old stomping grounds. We could not have picked a better place. Just a bit off the beaten track but easily within reach of everything we wanted. The home is clean, comfortable, and charming. Best of all, it is just steps away from Starview Vineyards tasting room. If you are looking for a crazed party house this isn't it. But if you're looking for wonderful relaxing surroundings and great hosts you've come to the right place. Free advice: Don't miss their Vignoles. If that's not your thing then go for the wine slushies!
